Self Balance Holistic Health Privacy Policy

The Company (“Self Balance Holistic Health”) recognises the importance of protecting personal information collected from the Customer and as such the Company complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation.

 

The Customers’ privacy is important. The Company will not use the Customer’s personal information for any purposes not indicated on the website or disclose to any third party except to secure payment or supply of the goods and services ordered.

 

The Company collects personal information so that it can provide the Customer with the Products and Services that the Customer has requested.

 

The type of information the Company collects and holds includes (but is not limited to) personal information, including health and other sensitive information, about:

 

  • Contraindications before treatment;

  • Current and historic physical and mental health;

  • Contact information that can reasonably identify the Customer;

  • Emergency contacts;

  • Doctor contact information if contraindications exist.

 

For the Company to process purchases, the Company needs information such as the Customers’ name, email address or contact number, delivery address, postal address and payment details.

 

All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars.

 

Financial information is requested afresh from the Customer every time that the Company performs billing operations – the financial information is not hosted or retained by the Company, or any other third party, after processing.

 

The Company uses PayPal and Bank Transfers to process payments. All payment details are processed on secure servers owned by these third parties. The Company’s website has an active secure certificate (SSL), which ensures that all data is transferred over secure, encrypted connections, and comply with international PCI standards.

 

The Company may store personal information in the 'cloud' which may mean that it resides on servers which are situated outside Australia.

 

The Customer has the right to obtain access to any personal information which the Company holds about the Customer and to advise the Company of any perceived inaccuracy.

 

To make a request to access or update any personal information, the Customer may contact the Company via email at any time. The Company may require you to verify your identity and specify what information you require. If the Company cannot provide the Customer with access to the information, the Company will provide the Customer with written notice explaining the reasons for refusal.

 

On occasions photographs and information about conditions and their treatments may be taken for publication in the Company’s newsletter and on the Company’s website. If the Customer does not agree to the publication of such detail, the Customer must advise the Company as soon as possible.

 

The Company respects every Parent’s right to make decisions concerning their child’s treatments and personal information retained.

 

The Company uses Google Analytics remarketing codes to register when Customers view specific pages or take specific actions on the website. This allows the Company to provide targeted advertising in the future.

 

By using this website, the Customer consents to the processing of data by Google in the manner described in their Privacy Policy and for the purposes set out above. You can opt out of Google Analytics if you disable or refuse the cookie, disable JavaScript or use the opt-out service provided by Google.

 

This website uses interfaces with Social Media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and others. The Customer should review their Privacy Policy’s if you intend to make use of the “like” and “share” services.

 

The Company occasionally sends out Newsletters and emails for those Customers who opt in to receive this added value service. A Customer can unsubscribe from receiving this information at any time by using the unsubscribe button on these emails.

 

The Company is dedicated to keeping the Customer’s details private. Any information the Company collects in relation to the Customer is kept strictly secured and for the stated purpose. The Company uses a variety of physical and electronic security measures to ensure the data is protected.

 

It is the Customer’s responsibility to perform checks for viruses on the receipt of data or emails.

 

The Company does not pass on, sell or swap any of the Customer’s personal details with any third party. The only personal information collected is that which the Customer discloses to the Company in communications with the Company, through providing data to identify the Customer’s for purchasing products or services or through subscriptions to the Company’s Newsletter. The Company uses this information to identify the Customer’s orders, provide the Customer with our e-Newsletter and to continue communication between both parties.

 

If the Customer is not happy in respect to how the Company have dealt with your personal information, the Customer should firstly contact the Company’s office via email or express post the Customer’s concerns.
