A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO MAINTAINING YOUR HEALTH
Reflexology
What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a non-invasive light touch therapy related to the Chinese practice of acupressure. It uses focused pressure and manipulation to points and areas located on all parts of the feet called reflexes. Reflexologists relate these reflexes to the structures, internal organs and tissues of the body in such a way that the body can be mapped directly onto the feet. Similar principles apply to the hands, face & ears.
Reflexology stimulates and balances the body. By using alternating pressure over a reflex area a message is sent to the brain through the Central Nervous System. Once the brain receives this message it sends signals to that corresponding area of the body, which in turn enhances blood flow to that part, gland or organ.
It is an ancient therapy with roots in Chinese and Egyptian cultures, revived and developed in the West in the late 19th century. Since then, those leading the way have identified more detailed reflexes and developed enhanced techniques. The intention of treatment is to remove energy blockages in the body, stimulating the body's own healing processes, while inducing a state of deep relaxation.

Reflexology & Essential Oils

The body is made up of intricate, interlinked body systems and through the ancient art of Reflexology we can connect with them and nurture our whole body. Introducing essential oils to this combination creates a powerful treatment possibility to bring balance to your mind, body and spirit.

Enchanced Techniques
Acupressure guided by the principles of Chinese medicine, use acupoints to effect change in meridians, and employ a holistic approach to healing that includes mind, body, emotions and spirit.
Precision Reflexology a linking technique which involves holding two (sometimes three) identified reflex points at the same time to add power and definition to the treatment.
Ayurvedic Reflexology also known as Kansa Vatki Foot Massage, a very dynamic form of Reflexology using warm oil, for an invigorating alternative to conventional treatment.
